When you watch movies
or television, do not just let the images flood through your mind without any
filter at all. You should approach every form of entertainment or art with the
knowledge that the producers of what you are watching had reasons for making
it. These producers want you to think in a certain way. If you watch movies and
television incorrectly, you will carry out the producer’s wishes. If you watch
the movies and television properly you will see messages telling you what the
ruling class plans on doing in their system. Knowing what they plan to do will
help you adjust your own system or brace yourself if you are still a part of
the rulers system.
The first thing
that you must do is to find your peoples in the film or show. Sometimes the
ruling elite will hide you in the skin of other characters. Look for the traits
that match the natural state of your people before they were colonized. You
also have to look for the principles being played on the screen. Justice may be
battling injustice, be careful to measure principles without moralization. When
you view movies and television this way, they look completely different than
they would if you just watched them escape reality.
